Horses and love in the Icelandic countryside.

A trailer from actor and debutant director Benedikt Erlingsson's first film, Of Horses and Men (Hross Í Oss), has seen the light of day. It stars Ingvar E. Sigurðsson among others and was mainly produced by Oscar-nominated director Friðrik Þór Friðriksson.

The film tells the story of an Icelandic rural population and how the Icelandic horse gets sucked into their fates, love and deaths. One can say it is about the human aspect of the horse and the equine aspect of humans. The film will hit Icelandic theatres on 28th August 2013 and is expected to be shown at theatres and film festivals around the world.
