In the Wild West of Iceland, a draculesque gypsy, driving a Russian van, picks up a teenage girl, Kria. They are total opposites but the one thing they have in common is their search for a place to call home. Their journey takes on a new turn and they end up stuck with each other for longer then they intended, with grave consequences.
Dögg Mósesdóttir, born in 1979, gratuated from the directing department of C.e.c.c. film school in Barcelona, Spain in 2005. Her short films have been shown in a wide selection of international film festivals. Her graduating film “Eyja” won The 2008 SGAE Nova Autoria Award for best direction-production and original music at The Sitges international fantastic film festival. Dögg is the director and founder of The Northern Wave International Short Film Festival and the president of Women in Film and Television in Iceland. Dögg is currently working as an independent filmmaker and editor.
