An extremely racist and bigoted man finds himself blinded after a serious car accident. Not sure if he will ever regain his sight, he must rely on his caretakers to bring him back to health, but with unforeseen consequences.
In the last ten years or so, Richard has worked in production, directing & writing. One of which, “66 Degrees North”, made it into the top ten finalists of the Nichol Fellowship in Screenwriting hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and was also one of the 2010 winners at the Producers Guild of America CoProShow with “66”. His other completed screenplays include; “Apples & Oranges”, “Funeral for a friend”, “Zero”, ”Into the Burning Moon” and “The Boneyard Boys” along with a made-for TV series called “Snow Patrol”. Richard has appeared in several feature films as an actor. The “Suburbans”, starring Ben Stiller, Will Farrell and Jennifer Love Hewitt (for which he also wrote the title song “By Your Side”). He also appeared in Katherine Bigelow’s “Weight of Water”, starring Sean Penn and Elizabeth Hurley. He also loaned his voice to three different characters in Disney’s animated feature “Atlantis” starring Michael J. Fox and to Ben Stiller?s “A Night at the Museum”.
